Update: It was very apparent that Franklin wasn’t irked about the meditation practice itself. He was disagreeing with the act of recording the practice on video (as this wasn’t the first time he had gone straight for the phone versus straight for my lap)
This makes for an interesting discussion on practicing for one’s own wellness versus practicing for an audience.
Where do you draw the line as a practitioner trying to help your students out? How do you insure that you’re truly practicing the various limbs of yoga for yourself (and not for show)? How do you maintain equanimity so that you’re not burned out in the process?
